Built an automated briefing system that aggregates candidate data from multiple sources and delivers a structured weekly intelligence report to stakeholders.

The team needed a reliable way to consolidate interview information and ensure every interviewer had the context necessary to make informed decisions without manually gathering information from multiple systems.

At a creative membership community, a council of members conducts interviews with prospective applicants each week. To prepare for those interviews, council members needed access to applicant information, interview schedules, and relevant background details before the review process began.

The problem was that this information existed across multiple systems. Interview scheduling data lived inside Calendly, while applicant records and supporting information were stored in Airtable. Every week, someone would need to manually gather this information, organize it, and distribute it to the interview team.

To eliminate this recurring administrative task, I built an automated briefing system that assembles the week's interview pipeline and distributes it directly to stakeholders.

At the core of the system is a custom API endpoint hosted on Vercel. Whenever the endpoint is called, it retrieves the latest interview schedule from Calendly and combines it with applicant information stored in Airtable. The data is normalized into a structured format that represents the current state of upcoming interviews.

Every Monday morning, an automated workflow retrieves this information and passes it through an AI-powered formatting layer. Rather than sending raw data, the system transforms candidate records into a concise and readable briefing designed specifically for the council members reviewing applicants.

The final report is automatically delivered into Slack, where stakeholders receive a complete overview of the week's interview candidates, their backgrounds, and the interview schedule without needing to open multiple systems or manually assemble information.

The result is a fully automated intelligence briefing process that ensures decision-makers begin every week with the same up-to-date information while eliminating recurring coordination and reporting work.
